(Staff Bio) Azel Reese

Azel Reese is a senior attending Valley High School for the 2026-2027 year. Azel grew up in Overton Nevada where she gained her love for poetry. In her sophomore year of high school, she attended a speech and debate competition where she got 36th place statewide out of almost 1,000 kids. Despite her love of poetry Azel hopes to study at the University of Utah in order to become a forensic pathologist. Azel’s main goal for the hoot is to publish realistic views of life. Videos and pieces of poetry that explore emotions and feelings which every person can relate to.
