“growth” by MJ Ortega

The point of this drawing is to show spiritual growth. It’s someone breaking from their dull, gray shell and blossoming into a new, colorful form. For the new form, I used Green to symbolize growth, and Blue/Purple to symbolize spirituality. For the old form, I used dull, neutral colors like black, brown, and gray, to show the lack of energy and life. I used red to draw attention to where the new form is emerging.
