Demolition Lovers – MJ Ortega, Zia Shick

For My project I decided to recreate an album cover that I’ve always loved. The album is Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance. The album cover shows 2 lovers with sad looks and splattered blood. These lovers are called the Demolition Lovers, which is a song on an earlier album. I used 2 of my friends (zero and seven) and I had Zia do their makeup for me. I took the pictures and edited them a ton to look as close to the original album cover as I could. I’ve never really been into photography but this project definitely made me want to do more.
