It is easy to overlook the beauty that surrounds us in the simplicity of everyday moments. The magic found in mundane routines is often taken for granted. From your favorite coffee shop releasing their spring menu on a day you need a pick me up to your boyfriend stopping on the side of the road on an 8 hour road trip to pick oranges for you, because he knows how much you love oranges. The beauty of waking up on a Saturday morning to the birds singing a song it seems they wrote just for you. Or In the simple act of trying on a shirt you are unsure of in the dressing room in your favorite store, you walk out to show your best friend, who holds the mirror that sees our worth. You inevitably buy the shirt. Or having the gut feeling of not deserving to eat, but your boyfriend convinces you that you are the most beautiful girl he’s ever met, and even though you say you are not hungry, he orders your favorite food from chick fil a, because he has your order memorized. Being able to fully be your self, without the voice in the back of your head telling you you need to suck in your stomach, or that this shirt does not flatter your body, because your best friend could not care less if you unbuttoned your pants to be able to eat more, in fact, they do the same. Or when you are driving on the freeway on a week of nothing but rainy days, the warm sun hits your face and you realize how close beautiful summer is. This is the beauty in everyday things. This is your life.
