A memory I have from elementary, back in 3rd grade, I was living in Wyoming and during Thanksgiving time our school would do this event where all the kids in the school would race around the school for 3 laps. Then when you finished the third lap, you would have to run up to a live turkey and tag it, and first, second, and third place would win prizes like pumpkin pie or turkeys.
A memory I have from middle school is when I had my first school dance. I was so nervous to go with a girl I was talking to, so when we went, I got all snazzed up and went with her. I was so scared, but when we got there, we stayed for like 10 minutes and then just left and had a way better time than being at the dance.
A memory I have from high school was my junior year. I was with all my friends from Valley, and we would always just leave the school and go to the gas station or to the mall and walk around. One time, me and my homie Rob went to the mall to drift little RC cars.
A couple of accomplishments I’m proud of myself for are actually being able to step myself up and being able to graduate because I did not think I was going to, and no one I knew thought I was going to graduate either, but I did it.
For my future plans, I’m planning to get a full-time starting job, save up enough money for a new car, and then I want to save up more money for a degree in business and welding. Then, me and my friends want to open a car workshop and build a business in marketing while we work on our shop.
One extremely valuable life lesson that I have learned is that your mind will hold you back from everything you think you can’t do. Telling yourself you can’t do something or don’t want to do something will rip your motivation away from you, and you will not complete that thing. You need to be able to at least tell yourself you can do the impossible.
