(Valley Memory Capsule 23-24) Zero Orton

A memory from elementary school:

Some kid begged me to beat him up so I kicked him once and then we became friends.

A memory from middle school:

I adopted my pupper “Millie.” We got her in 2020 the day before Easter and she peed on my bed that next morning.

A memory from high school:

Everyone dressed up as me for twin day. They wore polo shirts, and I brought ties for them to wear.

A memory from Valley High School:

Last year during the Dia de los Muertos Friday activity, I got to mess with the hydraulics in a lowrider and the street corn was scrumptious.

An accompaniment I am proud of:

I got my license, a job, and I opened my own savings account.

Plans for the future:

I want to get my associates degree and work in an industry that makes a difference whether that be in people’s mental health or the environment.

A valuable life lesson you’ve learned:

Don’t do things in order to get validation from others. Do things because you want to.
