Elementary school
I was a junior coach in 5th grade which was basically a program where the older kids would be at the younger kids recess and make them play like games and stuff, we would also be in charge of the PE equipment that was outside.
At the end of the year every Junior coach in the district went to a summit at the salt lake community college for some reason they had a bunch Of community college students who are on the break dance team I don’t know who it was official there or what, but they tried to teach us how to break dance I don’t remember much of it but I remember Just being really confused on what the point of it was.
Middle school
In middle school I did a lot of theater, I took the theater classes every year as well as did the bigger musical for the year where rehearsals were after school and sometimes on the weekends
Theater was how I made most of my friends in middle school and it’s definitely something I miss doing
One of my favorite memories I have is in my 8th grade theater class , me and another girl organized a white elephant Christmas party for our class, it was a lot of fun and my teacher really liked to see how close our whole class was
Boundary highschool
Before going to Valley, I did not like the school I was in no shade it was just not my place
It is honestly hard to come up with good memories from that school But I remember in 10th grade when I started getting burnt out not even A month into actually trying to go to school the student teacher in my English class took me aside and actually cared to talk to me about what was going on, that’s the first time a teacher at that school was actually worried about me or at least voiced their worry
He later became a permanent teacher at the school and most of the students favorite, I kept going to that English class for a while skipping all my others just because he treated me and the other students with a lot of kindness and actually tried to make class fun
Also because we were reading how to kill a mockingbird and that’s one of my favorite books ever.

Valley high school
I came into Valley with two of my closest friends one from elementary school and one from middle school, we all kind of thought that we would just stick to our own have our little trio and get through these two years, But we ended up forming a very strong friend group and it’s The first friend group I’ve been a part of where I feel like we’re all truly equal.
Almost all of us slowly joined peer counselors and I even ended up getting to go to the district meetings, it’s nice to know that I had a part in planning school events and being a voice for our school.
After highschool??
I’m a very ever-changing person and what I want to do changes often, but I have a deep love for makeup and I will probably end up doing something with that.
Ideally I would love to be doing screen makeup for TV shows and film ,I hope to get my associates in theater in Utah and later down the road go to cinema makeup School in LA
Valuable lesson
Sometimes you aren’t a shell of a person who has no meaning, you just need a change of environment and find people who love and care about you!
