Art @ Valley with Vaeh

I Interviewed Maureen, Valley’s excellent art teacher, and I viewed some of her favorite artwork displayed by Valley students. The class was working on non objective design with grayscale using charcoal. Students integrated light logic shading of forms and graduations of lights and darks to create visual dynamics.

Maureen says, “The purpose was to create there own design with a balance of simplicity and complexity using gradation to create areas that advance and recede”.

Morgan Macmurray is one of Valley’s students that achieved the criteria on time and properly done. Marureen also says Morgan’s work, “had a nice interplay of dynamics”. Her work is featured on this post.
