(Valley Memory Capsule 24-25) Remi Reeves

One memory I have from Elementary School was always running to the line when I got to school to go into class. Me and my friends would always be so happy to see each other every morning.

A memory from middle school was skipping class for the first time on my birthday in 7th grade all we wanted was to go to the gas station. My friend and I were so worried. Unknowingly my friend had made a surprise plan and her mom had checked me and her out the whole time and had surprised me with a movie day and treats.

One memory from high school was meeting my best friend through volleyball. We spent everyday together and would always have the funniest moments and conversations. It was an amazing experience being able to play volleyball with her.

Something that I am proud of is getting through highschool. I had never been good in school. School had always been such a mental struggle and I was always so behind. Although, after coming to Valley I felt good about coming to class and now I am graduating early.

I hope to study for my real-estate license and get into that sort of thing and also get things running smoothly for my clothing brand that I hope to start in the fall of 2025 (R&R clothing). One other thing that I hope to accomplish is start to ride horses a lot more frequently and gain enough experience to hopefully get my own.

One valuable life lesson that I learned was the quote, “what you are not changing, you are choosing.” I learned that if I sit and complain about something, do nothing, it won’t change. If I want my life to be how I want it, I have to change and do more to choose how I want my life to be. It may be hard but I will choose to put in some effort every day.
