Crumbl is overrated! (by Sophia Speights)

Crumbl is a popular chain that sells large cookies with a lot of toppings. They have become popular because they come out with new flavors every week. They started in Logan, Utah in 2017 by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley. It is a franchise chain of bakeries in the U.S.  

Crumbl Cookie is so overrated. The cookies that are made from crumble are way too sweet, they are walking disabilities. When I take a bite of the cookie it does not crumble at all, it’s almost like you can just taste all the products they use. The ingredients in the cookies are not mixed well enough. The frosting on the cookie is so mid. Some of these cookies are good but still overrated. A homemade chocolate chip cookie is way better than any crumbl cookie. 

Crumbl cookie thinks that they should be the only cookie store to exist. Anytime a new cookie store comes out crumble does in fact try to sue. Honestly some of these new cookie shops are so much better than crumbl. Crumbl has filed many different lawsuits against other cookie shops. They filed against Dirty Dough, and Crave cookies because they thought that their competitors’ branding and packaging was too similar to their shops.

Crumbl has faced some lawsuits such as labor law validations, having minors exceed the permitted hours and tasks involving potentially dangerous ovens and machinery. They are also under investigation for using ingredients produced by animals living in abusive conditions. They also have a lawsuit accusing the company of forming businesses copying crumble processes, trademarks, and trade dress in a confusingly similar way.

So, why are people still so obsessed with a company that is just not that good. This cookie shop needs to be under investigation more and needs to seriously change a lot of things about the company for real. Maybe people will finally understand that they are not good and people can learn to make their own cookies that are healthier and better. Crumbl is overrated.
