Why does Xbox matter to me? I feel that old Xbox consoles have allowed me to create many memories and friends, and made my childhood filled with joy and laughter that has developed who I am today. Asking friends for their usernames on this console so that we could play together just about every day after school, I often find myself reminiscing on nostalgic memories, the happiness, and the small amount of problems I had to worry about at that time.
The Xbox 360 came out on November 22, 2005, and had greatly changed the childhood of many kids, teenagers, young adults, and families all around the world positively; but it has also changed the future of the console because of how well it was able to run, perform, and the many games it had on it.
Some of the major titles to come out of the Xbox 360 were:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- Skate 3
- Minecraft
- Halo 4
- Assassin’s Creed
Many people all around the world in different countries were able to play with each other. It was the start of a great development in communicating with people online and making many friends for years to come.
