My Experience At Valley High School by Jojo Holman

My experience at valley high school is more than cool.

This poem is going to be about more than just school.

I started out new and very blue. I was lost and tossed.

I needed a fresh start not knowing it would change my heart.

Valley changed me, It made me see.

What wonders it could bring.

I love to go to school all day.

And even though I’m always late.

I’d really like to stay.

How nice it looks.

To digest books.

To learn and read.

About the seed.

It’s good to see the school we know.

The land of youth and dream.

To greet again the rule we knew.

But just to let it all go.

I hope it goes by slow.

I will never forget my experience at valley high school.

Even when I’m at a pool.

My principle Jacinto is the best

So heartwarming, accepting and once again, the best.

I never realized how much I wanted to make Jacinto smile.

Now don’t get me wrong Jacinto has lot’s of style.

It’s not him himself that scares me.

It’s the ties he wears that spares me.

Jacinto makes me feel like I’m at home.

The parking lot is where he roams.

I would know because he knows that’s my zone.

All because I always hit the road.

I have been to many different schools.

But Valley is the one that rules.

I want to be a teacher here.

Because everyone is my peer.

I will make them sing and cheer.

And work at Valley another year.

I don’t want to leave this place.

In my soul and in my heart.

Valley High School is a piece of art.
